Lisa Nos-Tollefson, PsyD, LPCC, IMH-E
Lisa Nos-Tollefson has a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, participated in a master's program in Sport Psychology at Florida State University, and obtained her bachelor's degree in psychology from Augsburg College. She has had the opportunity to train and provide services in a variety of settings, including Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare, Northwoods Children’s Services and both private and community mental health clinics.
Dr. Nos-Tollefson provides Reflective Consultation services, Reflective Supervision, Trainings, and psychotherapeutic services. She specializes in working with young children, ages birth-6; however, supports clients of all ages including children and adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Nos-Tollefson provides mental health assessment and treatment including diagnostic assessments, DC:05 assessments and psychotherapeutic treatment services. She is a trauma informed infant and early childhood mental health specialist and consultant, has completed the Infancy and Early Childhood Mental Health Certificate Program, is certified in Trauma Informed Child-Parent Psychotherapy and TF-CBT, has completed the training on Adoption Competency (TAC) and is identified as Permanency and Adoption Competent.
Dr. Nos-Tollefson is also an Adjunct Professor within the Minnstate system and enjoys educating others about mental health. She is actively involved in her community and enjoys coaching volleyball, being on the lake, and spending time with her family.
Kelsey is a Licensed-Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who acquired her Bachelors of Arts from the University of Minnesota and her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University. Kelsey has extensive experience working with individuals ages 0-50, and their families, as well as specializes in working with infants, toddlers and young children. Kelsey is rostered in DC 0-5 assessments and Trauma-Informed Child-Parent Psychotherapy. Kelsey also provides therapeutic support for couples, young to middle aged adults, as well as caregivers wanting to grow in connecting, and learning, about their children and their mental health.
Kelsey began her mental health journey working at a community Day Treatment where she provided group psychotherapy support for high-risk children and adolescents. Kelsey then grew in her practice and found her passion working with families and couples, as well as utilizing play-based interventions to support young children in finding their voices. Kelsey is focused on helping clients succeed in whatever ways they feel most comfortable, and always enjoys incorporating fun and creativity into her therapeutic work through hands-on interventions to encourage empowerment and growth. Kelsey is welcoming of all faiths, gender identifications, and lifestyles.
Kelsey is a loving wife and a mother of two young kiddos. Kelsey grew up in a military family and continues to have a strong support for the veterans present in her life. Kelsey enjoys many different hobbies such as putting together Legos, watching the newest superhero movie, playing video games, or reading a good murder-mystery novel. Kelsey has a passion for supporting others in learning more about themselves through self-empowerment, spirituality, and developing a positive outlook on life.
